Home learning ideas to support Year 2:
Spellings:
Each week, your child will be tested on a set of spellings which link to a rule/pattern or sound. Spelling tests will take place on a Monday and the new list for the week ahead will also be shared.
We please ask that families set aside blocks of 10-15 minutes at least three times a week for children to practise their given rule.

OPTIONAL Homework Activities:
Each half term, we will give the children some fun OPTIONAL Homework activities to complete, if they’d like to. Any entries will be proudly hung on our PROUD wall in the school hall and shared in Friday’s celebration assembly.
