Our school uniform
We are proud of our school community and the sense of belonging that our uniform helps to create. By wearing our uniform, children feel included, ready to learn and are able to fully take part in school life. It is designed to be comfortable, affordable and suitable for the wide range of activities children enjoy throughout the school day.

Clothing
- Grey or black skirt, shorts (no Nike Pros or similar style), pinafore dress or trousers (jeans or hot pants are not permitted).

- White blouse, shirt or polo t-shirt.

- Black or dark shoes.
Footwear
- Sturdy, black or dark flat supportive shoes, indoor footwear (knee high boots, crocs or sliders are not permitted).
- Wellington boots for wet/snowy conditions.
Please note: school holds a selection of spare indoor black shoes. Your child will be required to wear these if they are not in the stated uniform.
PE Kit
- Black shorts (no Nike Pros or similar style) / joggers.
- Plain white t-shirt.
- Plimsolls or trainers.
- Track suit for outdoor PE.
- Trainers, if possible, are preferred for outdoor PE.
Outdoor Wear
- A suitable coat or jacket throughout the year.
- Hat for sunny weather.
Please note: adaptations can, and are made for individuals with sensory processing issues. This is in consultation with staff and families.
Bags
Cloakroom space is limited across school.
- Ideally, bags should not be brought to school.
- Book bags are provided free of charge when children start school.
- If at any time children loan items of clothing from the school, please launder and return as quickly as possible.
Accessories
- Earrings should be one pair of studs. Earrings must always be removed for PE.
- Jewellery other than a watch is not permitted.
- Any form of make-up including false eyelashes and nail varnish should not be worn at school.
- Hair styles should be appropriate for school. Hair should not be coloured or glittered, fully shaven, beaded or extended including the addition of woollen or synthetic hair.
- Long hair (shoulder length and longer) should preferrably be tied back.
- False nails, stick on, gel or acrylic, are not permitted.
- Nail varnish should not be worn at school.
- Please remove temporary tattoos before sending your child back to school.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING, EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY BELONGING TO YOUR CHILD ARE CLEARLY LABELLED WITH THEIR NAME.
Purchasing school uniform
All items of our school uniform can be purchased from the majority of supermarkets and high street retailers, including Asda, Primark, Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s and many more. You can find some approximate costs for items of school uniform below.

Pre-loved uniform
We are pleased to offer a selection of pre-loved uniform items to help keep costs down and support sustainability. A range of good quality second-hand uniform items are available for families to access throughout the year, subject to availability. Please contact the school office for more details.
We also welcome donations of clean, good quality uniform that is no longer needed. By donating outgrown items, you can help other families and support a more sustainable approach to school uniform. Donations can be dropped off at the school office at any time.
